I have waxed lyrical about the Stokke Tripp Trapp on here before, because they’re so fabulous! Stokke introduced two new colours to their range a short time ago which I wrote about over at Bambino Goodies, so won’t repeat myself here. Today  was a good day – I took delivery of the orange one which I have wanted from the moment I laid eyes on it. I love it. A lot. Seriously. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I am swooning, like SERIOUSLY swooning over the Olann collection from Claire O’Brien which I originally spotted on the time sink of loveliness, Pinterest! I can’t decide if it’s the colour ways or the textures that are making my heart skip a beat, but I can tell you I NEED the orange Fite and the mustard Ciséan Beag stools.

1550 Chairs Stacked Between Two City Buildings is an art installation by Doris Salcedo at Istanbul Biennial. The space was filled in 2003 “evoking the masses of faceless migrants who underpin our globalised economy.”

Antrhropologie were selling these chairs, described as ‘commission pieces’ for $1800. I’m not sure that a resin Eames-like form added to a deconstructed wooden chair justifies that cost. What say you?
